Northern CSCs 7 a Side Tournament
After the heroics of the Keighley CSC team in 2007, on Saturday 14th June, the town of Keighley will host the Northern England Celtic Supporters Clubs' 7 a side tournament.
Details are as follows;
1)The venue is Holy Family RC Secondary School football fields for the games which will commence at 11am. The school has two full size football fields which we will divide to accommodate the necessary games. Changing room facilities are available which we will be able to use. The school is a short 5 minute walk from the town centre at the top of Spring Gardens Lane. The address is:

2. The entry fee is as last year at £75 which will go towards trophies/ medals as before eg: Both sets of semi finalists, the runners up, and the winner. There will be medals for the referees and a [player of the tournament award. The remainder of any money will be donated to charities of the winner and runners-up choice. We have booked Charlie and the Bhoys for the evening entertainment which will be held in the school hall with bar (application for tickets on the second page of the downloadable Word Document below).
3)We anticipate that the tournament will run on similar lines as in previous years e.g. teams play each other in the group stage with the top team(s) in each group advancing until the final.
4)Each match in the group stage will be 10 minutes each way, with the semi-final and final being 15 minutes each way.
5)Any participating clubs who have volunteer referees please let me know as soon as possible.
6)Please forward your entry fee (£75) as soon as possible and make the cheque payable to “Keighley Celtic Supporters Club” to be received before the end of February 2008.
7)The draw for the group stages will be made as soon as all the entry fees are received.
8)We will produce a full balance sheet for all participating clubs.
9)Saturday evenings entertainment will be Charlie and the Bhoys in the school hall. Please note that entry to on the evening will be strictly by ticket (£10) only and no paying on the door. We have initially allocated 10 tickets minimum to each participating club, please let me know as soon as possible if you require more than 10.
10)Trophy presentation will take place during the evening.
11)I would appreciate if you could complete the attached entry form and ticket application form and return it to me as soon as possible, we intend to have all money in and tickets allocated no later than Feb 28th 2008.
